A Slice of Live Takes

Over the past few months I have been experimenting with longer video works that have less obvious subject matters. This is mostly in the style of classic video art works by Nam June Paik and Bill Viola; that invoke the sublime in various ways. Further reading on this topic can be found here or anything in Doug Hall and Sally Jo Fifer’s Illuminating Video An Essential Guide to Video Art. I have always been fascinated with it since briefly studying it at University. I know I have done this long ago in the past, and some of the works that recently done invoke many different styles, but, in the mean time I have listed a variety of works that have recently used this style.
