Sonic Experiment #352 & Ambient Sleep Noise

This week I talk about a Max Patcher and the Live Takes I made this week. The Random Ambient Sleep noise generator is a patch that plays random noise to help one sleep - different every time. It plays 2 lots of background ambient low frequency hums, a clicker, a pink noise and whit noise generator. It is a set of sound that would help one sleep. You can pick it up on the Resources Page.

an example of the ambient sleep noise generator.

I used this to create this week’s Live Takes. I used the generator and curated some sounds. I made a quick visualiser with a jit.catch~ object. It is a beautiful little noise work that I can lose myself in.

Noise that generates, and shifts over time. Get lost in it for a while.
